bexio sends emails from noreply@bexio.com, your clients don't see your brand. With Mailer, you send from your own domain (e.g., billing@yourcompany.ch), customize your templates, automate recurring sends and access detailed analytics. It's a complementary tool that professionalizes your communication.
The security of your data is our top priority. All data is hosted in Switzerland on secure servers. We use SSL/TLS encryption for all communications. Your bexio credentials are never stored in plain text.
We never hold your bexio credentials: the connection goes through OAuth, the standard bexio itself uses. The authorisation requested covers reading **and writing** your contacts, invoices, quotes and orders writing is required to create the invoices of your recurring orders and to record a reminder in bexio. You can revoke this access at any time from your bexio account.
SPF is a DNS record that authorises a server to send on your behalf. It is required for **our sending server**: the wizard generates the exact line and checks that it is in place. If you connect your own service Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Amazon SES, your own SMTP you have nothing to change in your DNS, the authorisation already exists.
Yes, on every plan: configuring the sender is not restricted to any tier. You send from your own address (for example billing@yourcompany.ch), either through our sending server or through your own service Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Amazon SES or any SMTP server.
Yes, Mailer works with all bexio plans (Starter, Plus, Pro). You just need access to the bexio API, which is included in every subscription. The connection is made in seconds.
No, no changes are needed in your bexio account. You simply authorize access through a secure connection and Mailer does the rest. Your bexio data and settings remain untouched.
No, provided your domain authorises the sender. With our sending server, that comes down to a single line in your DNS (an SPF record): the wizard generates it and checks that it is in place. With your own service Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Amazon SES or your own SMTP the authorisation already exists and you have nothing to change. We do not advertise a deliverability rate: it depends on the recipient, their provider and the content of your message.
Yes, absolutely! You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. There is no commitment period. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the already paid period.
The trial lasts 7 days and gives you the Starter plan's features: 5 sends per month, one message template, and the history of the last 7 days. No bank card is asked for. At the end you pick a plan or you stop nothing is charged.
Yes, you can upgrade to a higher plan at any time from your dashboard. The change is immediate and the amount is calculated pro-rata for the remaining period. To downgrade to a lower plan, please contact our support team.
Payments go through Saferpay (Worldline), a PCI-DSS certified provider: your card details never pass through our servers. The methods offered on screen are those our Saferpay terminal allows credit and debit cards at least; the payment page shows the exact list at the time of paying.
The recurrence comes from bexio: that is where you set an order's frequency. In Mailer you open that order and tick two boxes create the invoice, send the email. Nothing goes out without both: you decide, order by order. A daily task then takes care of it, and a « Process now » button lets you try it without waiting for the due date.
You can connect several bexio companies to the same account and switch between them in one click, without signing in again this is built for accounting firms. Note: **one licence covers one company**. Three companies therefore need three licences, except on the Fiduciaire plan, which includes 3.
Yes, you can export all your personal data at any time from your account settings (under "Danger Zone"). The export includes your profile information, connected bexio accounts and licenses. You can also permanently delete your account.
